LET'S CREATE SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER

Li.D's Garden was a community art experience exploring the intersection of illustration, music and human connection.

The project began by repurposing more than 100 discarded restaurant flyers into mixed-media artworks, transforming everyday materials into pieces filled with favourite quotes, mantras and personal reflections.

Rather than waiting for an exhibition opportunity, I created one.
On 2 September 2023, a public park in Utrecht became an open-air gallery featuring four local DJs, a communal barbecue and a quiet drawing corner, inviting people to experience art in their own way.

More than 30 people came together to explore the exhibition, create, connect and share the afternoon.

Li.D's Garden reinforced my belief that art is most powerful when it's accessible, participatory and built around community.

For one of her pop-up events, I was invited to transform an entire room into the world of Flowaura. The exhibition combined original art prints, textiles, apparel and home accessories, creating an immersive space inspired by lush botanical environments and vibrant colour.

Every element was carefully curated to complement the venue, encouraging visitors to imagine how the pieces could live within their own homes and everyday rituals.

This collaboration highlighted my passion for designing thoughtful exhibition spaces where art, interiors and storytelling come together to create memorable experiences.

The client commissioned a complete brand identity system to establish a distinctive and future-focused visual presence.

The project involved developing a cohesive visual identity, including brand strategy, logo design, typography, colour systems, custom illustrations and pattern design. Every element was crafted to balance technical precision with warmth, culture and forward-thinking innovation.

This collaboration demonstrates how strategic branding and visual storytelling can transform complex ideas into clear, memorable and scalable brand identities.

The client envisioned a vibrant three-panel artwork to transform a 2 × 2 metre living room wall. Together, we explored how the piece could complement the colours, atmosphere and personality of the space while remaining true to the original artwork.

The commission involved adapting the original illustration by introducing a warm yellow background, producing the artwork at a larger scale and designing custom frames with added depth to discreetly conceal a wall thermostat. Every creative decision was made through close collaboration, balancing the client's vision with my artistic approach.

This project reminded me that commissioned artwork is about more than creating something beautiful—it's about listening, adapting and designing pieces that feel as though they truly belong in someone's home.

The experience also gave me a new appreciation for Jungle, showing how a single illustration can evolve through colour, scale and context while retaining its original spirit.
